Chateau Hostačov is a family-owned and operated renaissance chateau surrounded by its own forest park next to the village of Hostačov in Eastern Bohemia. Built on the foundations of an early medieval fortress, the chateau was recently turned into a bed and breakfast guesthouse and small private conference centre. Chateau Hostačov is a heritage listed building with a unique character, and so each room and suite is also unique. All rooms are non-smoking, and there are rooms for disabled guests.

All the rooms are located on the first floor of the Chateau with views of the Chateau park from their windows. As the Chateau is a historic building all rooms are unique and have their own little quirks.

Breakfast is included in the room price, and guests can choose from a continental style, english style, or a bit of both for a good start to the day. Our South African chef will also be happy to provide you with a unique lunch or dinner upon request. We can also cater to those who would like to have a meal outside by providing picnic packs that guests can take into the park or on their adventures during the day. The picnic pack comes with all accessories in an easy to carry backpack.

Chateau Hostačov is located about 90km east of Prague in Eastern Bohemia. Local attractions include the fairytale Zleby Chateau (4 km away) and the town of Kutná Hora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (a 20-minute drive away). There are also excellent opportunities for bicycle riding along the quiet country lanes of our region, and the chateau hires out bicycles to this end.
Dostupnosť - Zámek Hostačov
Zamek Hostacov is located in Eastern Bohemia, near the town of Golčův Jeníkov, roughly 100km from Prague by car, and 1 1/2hrs by train from Prague central station. Hostačov is located 2km from major road 38 that leads from Jihlava to Kolin. You can reach this road by travelling along motorways D1(E50, E65) from Prague-Brno, or quicker by D11(E67) from Prague – Hradec Kralove. For a more peaceful drive through the countryside, take major road no. 2 from Prague – Kutna Hora, which is a considerably shorter route, but may take longer due to the slower road. Once on the major road 38 head towards Golčův Jeníkov. About 1km north of this town there is a sign for Hostčov – 2km, heading east, turn here. You will cross railway tracks and go downhill, and continue to follow the signs to Hostačov. Once you have gone along the cobblestone road and passed the village of Skryje you will see the sign for the village Hostačov. On the lefthand side you will see a linden-tree lined avenue. Turn here and go along the avenue and into the forest at the end of it. As you descend into the forest you will first see the old stables, the lake and finally the chateau! The nearest railway station to Hostačov is Golčův Jeníkov město. Do not forget to mention the město part, as otherwise you may be encouraged to get on a slower train, or will be asked to pay a surcharge on the train. The Golčův Jeníkov město station is on the 'rychík' (fast) train line between Prague and Brno. Once in Golčův Jeníkov it is 4km to the chateau. We are happy to pick up and drop off guests free of charge given prior notice.

Co se týče ubytování a ochoty personálu, tak není pochyb o tom, že se chovají vstřícně, ochotně a na úrovni. Výtečný kuchař se podělil o své receptury - úžasné. Okolí pěkné na to, že zámek prochází rekonstrukcí restaurace. Interiér moc pěkný. Přístupupová cesta špatná a označení slabé. Ale vše hodnotím pozitivně a rozhodně doporučuji pro milovníky ticha a klidu.

V zámku v Hostašově jsme trávili se ženou a naším psem tři nádherné dny. Bylo fascinující být svědke úsilý mladých majitelů hotelu, jak se snaží ,co bylo původně kulturní a posléze zdevastované tupou totalitou, zase navrátit smyslu , účelnosti i kráse. Činí tak s láskou nenucenou přirozenostía elegancí. Toto vše vynahradí i případné reminiscence na kommunistickou hnusotu/ jekory, příšerné lustry,některé kusy nábytku atd/. Pokud bych měl bý pragmatický řekl bych pobyt v Hostačově je zkutečně "value for money" . Za cenu kterozu zaplatíte dostanete více než opdpovídající kvalitu. Vřele doporučuji Dr. Jan Pfeiffer
Na zámku jsme strávili jednu noc, přesto jsme s manželem nadšení. Přijetí na recepci bylo velmi přátelské. Celý zámek krásně voněl, byl čistý a útulný. A ten klid!!! Jídlo bylo originální, výborné, stejně tak obsluha (milá, usměvavá). Zámek dýchá zvláštní kouzelnou atmosférou, jako by tam čas plynul pomaleji, vše bylo tak klidné... Budeme se rádi vracet.
